Tennis, like any other sport or activity in Switzerland is a community affair and often also a costly affair. When someone asks me "You are in Switzerland. Why aren't you skiing?" my standard response with a smile would be "I have one expensive hobby already (Tennis). Do not need another one!". To play Tennis regularly, you either need to be active in a sports club or a group or on an app (like GotCourts) which over the years will eventually make you part of a community.

I'm lucky to be part of multiple Tennis communities in Switzerland, of which two of them already planned a farewell party for me, which of course is a day out on the Tennis courts followed by a BBQ feast. I do not know how my Tennis life in India will be later this year, but Switzerland certainly set the standards very high, and I can say the standards are even higher than the USA. In Switzerland, everything works as expected.

Today, I got to play Tennis with a friend at TC Ettenfeld, the club where I probably played the most Tennis in the last three years. Tennisanlage Hardhof, Frauental, Eichrain, Grindel, Urdorf, Uetikon, Zug, Baar, Allmend and Ageri were the other venues I played Tennis at. I will always be grateful for Tennis community in Switzerland keeping me mentally and physically healthy.

Experimenting with daily highlights and gratitude journaling.

I'm 37 and will turn 38 this month. While I have been more or less a seeker so far in my life, I now strongly feel I have something to offer
to those who seek, and this daily authentic journal is one of the means I chose to express myself. I founded A10city
envisioning a platform that showcases authentic content, brings authentic people together and eventually becomes a place for everything
authentic. I spent significant parts of my life living in the largest democracy 🇮🇳, the powerful democracy 🇺🇸 and the democracy that
actually works 🇨🇭. Over the years, I have met numerous people, travelled across the Northern Hemisphere from the extreme west to the far
east. One thing I have lacked is a sense of belonging, and I always fantasized the idea of moving back to India in the last 14 years of living abroad. I am finally acting on my decision to move back to India this year to start a life where I intend to give more than I take from this world.

When I moved to Switzerland in 2021, I visited Cafe Bar Odeon where the
likes Albert Einstein and Herman Hesse have spent their time. Today is the Swiss National Day and I went to Cafe Bar Odeon to reminisce about the past five years in Switzerland. This beautiful country provided me a stable
platform to explore my identity, helped improve my health and fitness, and I got better at my favourite sport Tennis. What I am truly grateful for is that Switzerland helped me attain financial stability,
which is allowing me to think, work and act on things that actually matter to me. I am grateful for everything and everyone in my life who enabled me
to experience this very day, which marks the beginning of my daily journaling experiment.
