One good thing about the Big Data for Engineers three hours exam tomorrow is that it fully brought me into the focus mode where I am able to study and learn comfortably. I missed this while working over the last three years, where I had to be responsive to the emails, chats and perform managerial duties. The last time I remember having this level of focus was when I was reading Rust textbook in 2021 during my early months at Web3 Foundation. I did have focus during Polkadot Blockchain Academy at UC Berkeley in the summer of 2023, but was also working full time at Web3 Foundation, which was a very stressful period.
I will focus all day in digesting the concepts from the Big Data textbook, get familiar with coding exercises and take tomorrow's exam with confidence. Overall, Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Management, Technology and Economics (MTEC) at ETH Zurich has been a rewarding experience at a key juncture of my life. Today, I will spend time studying at WEV building, home for MTEC department and conclude my studies as well as my career in Web3, which both helped me understand so much about how the world works and what it takes to start and run a company.
