Landed in Buenos Aires and checked in at my hotel in Palermo. Took a walk around the neighbourhood, went to the shops at the Outlet, had nice dinner at an Asian fusion restaurant (got my dose of red chillies that were missing this week in Catamarca). The waitress was very curious what brought me to Argentina and engaged in a long conversation.
I don't know what it is, but experiencing Catamarca first and then coming to Palermo is making me feel like I am missing out on authentic Argentinian experience. Palermo has everything a city neighbourhood needs to have, but so do many cities I have visited before.
