What I read online about life in India, the recent cases of food safety concerns and adulteration, report about 8.7 crore Indian youth not studying, working or undergoing training and the general criticism of lack of quality public infrastructure are all making me anxious regarding the move. I do see the opportunity here for spending time and efforts improving the current situation in India, but can I do it while preserving my sanity and positive outlook towards life, is yet to be seen.
I strongly believe the way forward for me in life is definitely in India. Honestly, I think I just started living life. So far, my life has progressed in a prolonged schooling secured by organizations and individuals in the USA and Europe, who had significant resources - University at Buffalo, University of Vermont and Web3 Foundation. While I excelled at what was expected of me, I could barely keep up with my own vision of what I like to do with my life. By stepping out of the comfort zone and social security offered by Switzerland, I am now returning to India where my life could take any turn. While I was quite positive about my life last year when I decided to move back definitively, I sit here in front of this computer slightly on the skeptical side of how things will be.
