Thanks to Claude, the proofs of concept for my product ideas now take just a couple of hours to get started and a few weeks to get to where I want them to be. AI has effectively eliminate the biggest hurdle I had during my graduate studies, which is to debug errors while using open source libraries. I spent days to overcome errors integrating image processing libraries along with inertial sensor processing for the stabilized mobile HDR application which took more than a year to be successfully published at a research conference.
Today, I got to spend the afternoon at ETH Zurich library, my favorite spot on campus. I managed to create a Rust based WebAssembly Image Editor app that runs fully on browser and does basic image edits. Over the next few weeks, the goal is to make this ready for C2PA conformance program and be able to edit the authentic journal pictures which will be attested with A10city certificate. I will basically be building the products I will be using myself.
I will miss this library space so much when I go back to India next week.
