The 33rd Zurich street parade is happening today with hundreds and thousands on people on Zurich streets. This event is a stress test for Swiss public infrastructure in Zurich with all trains, trams, buses, WCs, police, emergency response teams and perhaps even hospitals feeling the crunch. This is my first street parade experience and I must again commend Switzerland for making such massive event feel super safe. With security and emergency service points in the field of view wherever you are, highly coordinated organizing team of the parade helping move the people loaded vehicles at a decent pace, this mega event sets a benchmark of how it should be done. I've seen many families and even kids be part of this, but most of the kids I've seen were either crying or just are bewildered. Really felt alive today and the high energy at the parade was infectious. Caught up with some of my Tennis friends and again, grateful to have experienced this event.
