I always show how clear the waters in Swiss lakes and rivers are to my friends and family visiting from the USA and India. Today, I was taking a stroll close to the Zurich HB and wondered about how Swiss people can keep the water quality of Sihl river so pristine. In contrast, the water quality of a similar river that flows in my home city Hyderabad called Musi makes me appreciate Sihl river even more. This small river flowing through the heart of the city also is a home for several fish, which seem super happy. I noticed a couple of fish hanging out very close to the shallow river bank, just chilling and playing against the water flow. I wish I had someone to chill with on this river bank :)
While returning home, I drank a lot of water from the public water fountain without second thoughts. I think I'm used to trusting the Swiss people and their high-quality living standards.
